Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Solène and I'm the manager of "A journey in Paris". After studying foreign languages and international business, I had several experiences of working as international project manager with Asia. In 2011, I started working in tourism industry : designing, promoting and guiding tours in both English & Japanese. I went freelance in April 2014 and started offering private tours in Japanese. Then I realized that some of the tours I had created could be interesting for non-Japanese people, and got more ideas of new tours day after day. 

I started trying the market through retailers from December, 2014, and as it has been reacting very well, I decided to design a dedicated website to sell directly to English speaking customers. I hope that you'll find some interesting tours here and that we'll have the chance to meet in person !

CONCEPT & SERVICES

"A Journey in Paris" is a small business settled in May 2015. We offer atypic tours & experiences in Paris and suburbs, for English speaking visitors from all over the world. Our goal is to provide individual travellers and small groups (8-10 people maximum) with a wide range of original tours & experiences, designed with our Parisian eye, through French art of living, arts & artisanat, food or architecture, to make you have the most amazing Journey in Paris.

We aim to provide activities to everyone, depending on if it's your first time in Paris or if you are a repeater. To do so, we offer 4 categories of tours : Walking tours, exclusive experiences, half day trips and private guiding.

Among our many walking tours, we offer area walks or themed tours, with the only goal of providing activities that don't exist anywhere else ! 

We also think that a visitor wanting to know a country and its culture needs to take part in interactive tours to meet French people and immerse in French culture. We also try to offer original half day trips in Paris region (travelling by public transportation) so that you can discover its many secrets ! And of course, if you have a special request and feel to prefer being in a private tour, we also offer private guiding services.
